The Work Chose Me
My path to becoming a therapist began in a high school classroom. When a student-athlete told me I was the only adult she trusted, I realized the profound responsibility of holding someone’s inner life, and that responsibility became my calling. I have been a licensed counselor since 2013, helping clients navigate life's complexities with curiosity, rigor, and care.
I'm a native Oregonian, a graduate of St. Mary's School in Medford, and Colorado College. My perspective is shaped by both intellectual inquiry and lived experience. While studying abroad in Chile, I experienced a life-altering accident that taught me the quiet, necessary work of rebuilding after loss and regaining control. I came to love the country and later spent eight years living there, continuing my studies and deepening my appreciation for its culture, people, and rhythms of life.
Before counseling, I worked in education starting in 2007, which strengthened my understanding of human growth and learning. Clinically, I am drawn to depth psychology and Jungian thought, honoring the symbolic layers that shape our experience.
I work with individuals willing to engage their lives honestly. Whether you are navigating a transition, managing anxiety, or seeking a space that respects your intelligence and complexity, my goal is to offer a steady, thoughtful partnership.
